The Protection You Want.
Shipping Policy — Please Read Before You Buy
All parts sold by Dixie Auto Salvage are used, pulled from salvage vehicles. Used parts carry inherent risk — wear, age, deterioration, and the possibility of failure that isn't always detectable during inspection. This risk is the trade-off for the deep discount of used vs. new. Along with this assumed risk is the cost of getting the part to you — it is important to understand that the cost of shipping is not covered under any of our warranties or return policy.
If a part fails within 30 days of purchase, we'll replace it or refund the cost of the part. Shipping and freight costs — both outbound and return — will not be refunded, under any circumstances. Shipping costs (risk) remain the customer's responsibility. This is a firm part of our terms and applies to every order, and by purchasing, you're accepting these terms.

Standard Coverage
Limited Warranty Terms
All parts sold by Dixie Auto Salvage (DAS) are covered by our standard 30-day warranty. This limited warranty is provided to the original purchaser, is valid for 30 days from the date of the original sale (the "Warranty Period") and does not include any labor coverage. Extended warranties, if purchased, are available on select parts for either 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months and cover both the part and the labor required to install it — DAS does not offer an extended warranty that covers parts only. Please consult your salesperson for additional warranty options. Sheet metal has a limited lifetime replacement warranty for rust-through corrosion. Shipping
Freight Costs
Shipping and freight costs — both outbound and return — are not covered under warranty, under any circumstances. This holds costs down and keeps used parts affordable; it's part of the trade-off that lets us sell quality used parts at a fraction of new prices. If a part fails within the warranty period, we'll replace it or refund the cost of the part itself, but freight to and from DAS remains the customer's responsibility.
