Welcome to Dixie Auto Salvage ("DAS," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of dixieautosalvage.com and any related services, content, or features we offer (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, placing an order, or checking a box to accept these Terms, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Who We Are

Dixie Auto Salvage is an auto salvage and used auto parts business located at 1795 E Washington Dam Rd, Washington, UT, 84780. We sell used and salvage auto parts and vehicles through our website, eBay, and other listed channels.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order or create an account with us. If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Products We Sell

Most items we sell are used, salvaged, or reclaimed auto parts and vehicles. Unless a listing specifically states otherwise:

  • Parts are sold in the condition described in the listing and may show wear consistent with their age and use.
  • Vehicles sold for salvage or parts may not be roadworthy and may not include a standard title.
  • Fitment information, part numbers, and compatibility notes are provided as a guide; it's the buyer's responsibility to confirm fit and compatibility before installation.

We make reasonable efforts to describe and photograph items accurately, but we don't guarantee that every listing is free of error.

4. Orders, Pricing, and Payment

  • Placing an order is an offer to purchase; we may accept, decline, or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or inventory unavailability.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice until an order is confirmed.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current payment and billing information and authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge the payment method you provide.
  • Applicable sales tax will be added unless you provide a valid tax-exemption certificate.

5. Shipping and Pickup

Shipping costs, timelines, and carrier selection are as stated at checkout or in your order confirmation. Local pickup may be available for certain items. Risk of loss for shipped items passes to you upon our delivery to the carrier, except as otherwise required by law.

6. Returns, Exchanges, and Warranty

Parts and vehicles sold by DAS are covered only to the extent described in our separate Warranty Terms. Shipping and return shipping costs are not covered under warranty except as stated there. Please review the Warranty Terms before purchasing if warranty coverage is important to your decision.

7. Text Messaging (SMS) Program

If you opt in to receive text messages from Dixie Auto Salvage regarding your orders, parts requests, or vehicle inquiries, the following applies: message frequency may vary depending on your order and inquiry activity. Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to opt out at any time, or reply HELP for assistance. 8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, or data;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers/networks connected to them;
  • Scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of our site content without permission;
  • Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information in connection with an order or account.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if we believe you've violated these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Services — including text, graphics, logos, photos, and software — is owned by or licensed to DAS and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our name, logo, or content without our prior written permission, except as necessary to use the Services as intended (e.g., viewing product listings).

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites or services (for example, payment processors or shipping carriers) that we don't control. We aren't responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN OUR WARRANTY TERMS, THE SERVICES AND ALL PRODUCTS SOLD THROUGH THEM ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DAS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR ANY PRODUCT PURCHASED THROUGH THEM, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold DAS harmless from any claims, losses, or damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in Utah.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
